Chorus is a social enterprise which aims to improve long term outcomes for children and families who face adversity but providing specialist preventive therapeutic interventions in the children’s early years. For this event we will present an overview of our Adoption Parent Toddler Group project (APTG) which is a parent child psychotherapy group for adopted toddlers aged 1-4 and their parents.
The presentation will explore how the group enables families, both children and parents, into playful states which allows for therapeutic change. Clinical material will be used, names and identifying features will be changed.
In my opinion jealousy is normal and healthy. Jealousy arises out of the fact that children love. If they have no capacity to love, then they don’t show jealousy.
