SQUIGGLE ONLINE
Chorus is a social enterprise which aims to improve long term outcomes for children and families who face adversity but providing specialist preventive therapeutic interventions in the children’s early years. For this event we will present an overview of our Adoption Parent Toddler Group project (APTG) which is a parent child psychotherapy group for adopted toddlers aged 1-4 and their parents.
The presentation will explore how the group enables families, both children and parents, into playful states which allows for therapeutic change. Clinical material will be used, names and identifying features will be changed.
Through artistic expression we can hope to keep in touch with our primitive selves whence the most intense feelings and even fearfully acute sensations derive, and we are poor indeed if we are only sane.
