After Lacan: The Other French School

This is a UCL Psychoanalysis Unit online conference which reintegrates the contributions of the Other French school into ‘classical’ psychoanalysis. Open to all. Clicking on link will take you to the event’s website.
This is the awful thing about school and university examinations, all of which are in a sense initiation rites; it seems that what is being tested is not only the individual’s intellectual capacity, but the individual’s capacity to comply and to tolerate being false in order to gain something in relation to society.
